About Old Goat Guitars

Old Goat Guitars is located in Sarasota, FL. My name is Mark Humphrey, and I've been buying/selling/trading used and vintage guitars for over 20 years. I specialize in fine acoustics, not only vintage, but recent offerings as well. I will offer the occasional solid body or electric arch top as these sometimes come in on trades. Please check back often as I'm always finding quality guitars for our store.

Don't hesitate to offer trades of quality if you have something to deal. Cash my way or your way depending on the piece.

Policies

Payment: I accept payment through PayPal. Of course, a check or money order is always welcome, too. I won't turn down cash, either, if you happen to be in town.

Shipping: I work with the buyer to find the best carrier for every domestic transaction. I have shipped many times with all the major carriers. I know them all very well. International buyers usually opt for USPS Express Service. I've shipped to every continent except Antarctica and understand how to professionally pack a fine musical instrument. I like to get your guitar moving quickly, but sometimes, depending on circumstances such as inclement weather, it's necessary to wait for the optimum time to ship. It's best to keep fragile guitars moving, so shipping late in the week is never a good idea, in my opinion, unless you're going next day express. I'll work with you to get the safest, fastest, best rate for shipping your new purchase. Finally, you pay exactly what it costs to ship and insure the guitar. No flat fees. No "handling" charges. You're spending enough on a fine instrument. You don't need to be overcharged to get it shipped safely to your home or business.

Returns: Three day money back return privilege on all purchases. Buyer pays return postage. Instrument must be returned in same condition it was delivered. No restocking fees. I want you to be happy with the guitar you buy from me.
